Recently, the National Furniture Industry Standardization Work Conference and the 3rd Session of the 5th Plenary Meeting of the National Furniture Standardization Technical Committee was held in Heaye Health Industry Park, which is located in Anji County, Huzhou. The conference was hosted by China National Furniture Association and National Technical Committee 480 on Furniture of Standardization Administration of China, and undertaken by Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research and Heaye Health Technology Co., Ltd.

A related person in charge explained, “As the greatest production base of office chairs, in the face of fierce market competition and diverse consumer demands, Anji should promote production upgrading with work standardization.” The conference was significant to the nationwide standardization work on furniture, with the expectation that leaders and experts involved should further research the development trend and technical needs of the furnishing industry, continuously improve the national system of GB furniture standards, and contribute more wisdom and efforts to realizing modernization and sustainable development.

The meeting deliberated and passed the 2023 Annual Work Report and 2023 Annual Financial Report of the National Technical Committee 480 on Furniture of Standardization Administration of China, declared the adjustment of members and observers of the Committee and commended the advanced collectives and outstanding workers of furniture standardization in 2023.
